Advancing Scholarship & Discourse

The Chicago Forum Fellowship offers scholars and practitioners a distinguished residency at the University of Chicago, with space and support to deepen their work on today's most pressing questions, fully immersed among students and faculty grappling with the same issues. Exploring these ideas together advances our mission: deep scientific rigor, fidelity to inquiry over conventional wisdom, and a reaffirmation of the university's role as an institution of truth-seeking.

Fellows are selected for the depth and impact of their work on academic freedom, freedom of expression, open inquiry, and heterodox ideas. Their scholarship aligns with the Forum's strategic priorities, and they bring a demonstrated commitment to collaboration and honest, good-faith exchange across the University and for the broader public.
